Chourico Rangoon

INGREDIENTS
4oz Mello’s Ground Chourico
12 Wonton wrappers
1 4.25oz can lump crab
1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
¼ cup green onion, diced
1 tsp chili oil
6 cups vegetable oil
Sweet chili sauce
Extra green onions, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large bowl, mix together crab, chourico, cream cheese, green onion, and chili oil until well combined.
Spoon a teaspoon amount into the center of each wonton wrapper. Coat edges with water and fold to your liking, making sure filling is secured in center.
Meanwhile heat oil to 375°F in a heavy bottom pot.
Add wontons a few at a time until golden brown.
Remove from pot and set on a paper towel-lined plate.
Serve with sweet chili sauce and green onions.
